Jen
Sevigny
- Wildlife Biologist
Jen has been employed
as an Endangered Species Act Biologist/Wildlife Biologist with
the Stillaguamish Tribe Natural Resources Department since December
2000. Originally from Brandon, Vermont, she received her B.S.
in Wildlife Biology from the University of Vermont, and earned
a M.S. in Biology from the Fort Hays State University in Kansas.
Jen's primary responsibilities
include documenting the decline of wildlife in the Stillaguamish
Watershed and representing the Tribe at local meetings. Focus
on both game and nongame species. Current projects include:
Marbled Murrelet surveys
and habitat reviews
Bald Eagle nesting/winter roost surveys
Elk monitoring
Forest Practice Activity Application review/site visits
Salmon recovery assistance
Beaver habitat protection
Herbicide sampling
Tribal hunting issues
Wetland habitat review
Waterfowl/Shorebird habitat review
Jen is a member of the Snohomish
County Resource Advisory Committee (RAC), Landscape and Wildlife
Advisory Group(LWAG), Intertribal Wildlife Technical Committee,
and alternate member of the Snohomish County Marine Resource
Advisory Committee (MRC).
