Kip Killebrew

Kip received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Marine Science from Penn State University in 1977. During his career, he has worked for NASA, University of Washington, NMFS, WDFW, and Snohomish County. He has worked here for 16 years.

As the Tribe's enhancement biologist, Kip oversees the tribal hatchery and natural stock restoration programs. He provides technical advice and assistance to the tribal natural resource manager, fisheries director, and staff on fisheries enhancement issues.

His responsibilities include monitoring and improving all aspects of the tribal hatchery program as well as acting as a technical consultant for the local volunteer fisheries enhancement group.

 

 

Kip is a favorite at the hatchery tours and gives frequent public speaking and public relations activities within the local community. He acts as tribal liason with county, state, and federal agencies involved in salmon restoration with the watershed.
